Why we created the Soulfront Mental Health & Wellness Renewal Retreat
The idea for our Retreat grew out of a conversation we had about the toxicity that exists in our everyday lives, society and workplaces. People are surprised to hear that over 20% of Canada’s working population experiences Mental Health problems and illnesses.
We often joke about the last time we had a day without technology, how much of our day is spent sitting or how often do we find ourselves rolling through drive thrus to eat? Studies are finding a real link between our current lifestyles and the longer term impact on mental, physical and our social lives.
The Soulfront Mental Health & Wellness Retreat is designed for professionals who see the value in removing themselves from their current environment for personal renewal as well to learn the practical tools to improve mental, physical and social wellness.

Why you should attend
Our Retreat recognizes the modern pressures we all face and takes time to focus on our own personal renewal. Time and care has been given to our topics, speakers, flow of activities, food and rest. We aim to engage but not to agitate.
We want you leaving refreshed, rested and more connected with your own mental, physical and social wellbeing. Our facilitation team of professional therapists and psychologists have crafted unpacking sessions that will help you explore your own Mental Wellness. Our goal is to help you find your own space to retreat, recharge, relearn and renew.

Alfred H. Savage Centre
Nestled in the North Saskatchewan River Valley, the Alfred H. Savage Centre offers a quiet getaway surrounded by plenty of walking trails. The centre is built to LEED Silver Standards (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) and uses geothermal heating, water reduction methods, and reflective roofing methods. Who is Alfred Savage you may be asking? He was Commissioner of Public Affairs for the City of Edmonton between 1974 and 1981 and was the driving force behind City facilities such as the Muttart Conservatory.
